The Art of the Clavichord is sold out! See you next season!
We are excited to welcome back Horszowski Trio pianist Rieko Aizawa and violinist Jesse Mills for the final season concert on May 19th at 4 pm.
It will feature the music of J.C. Bach and Mozart's very FIRST violin sonata, which he composed when he was SIX! As well as the music of Purcell, John Cage, Villa-Lobos, and Kalevi Aho.
Rieko brings her period instrument, a clavichord, to The Old Stone Meeting House. She inherited the instrument from her teacher, Peter Serkin, who inherited that same clavichord from his and Rieko's teacher, Mieczysław Horszowski.
