Bulk Pick Up

The Village of Upper Nyack Department of Public Works requests that items for bulk pick-up be left at the curb on Wednesday night for Thursday Pickup.

Bulk items may include furniture, toys, appliances, carpeting, wood, and metal items.

Items should be separated out into wood, metal, and other debris since some items can be recycled. Mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic.

All Hazardous Materials (paint, chemicals, etc.) and Ewaste (TVs, computers, etc.) must be brought to the Rockland County Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Facility in Pomona.

If the amount of debris you have set out for bulk pick up exceeds the volume that can be handled by the Department of Public Works you will be notified.

You will need to contact a contractor for a dumpster to pick up the excess amount of debris you have placed at the curb.

If you have any questions contact the Dept. of Public Works (845) 358-1915 or Village Hall Office (845) 358-0084.
