NYMTC’s Community Visioning Workshop Seeks Public Input on the Palisades Shared Use Path Study

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) will host a series of three virtual Community Visioning Workshops to discuss the Palisades Shared Use Path Study, a project to determine the feasibility of creating a shared use path between the George Washington and the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridges.

Workshops are open to the public and will be held Tuesday, March 5th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm; Wednesday, March 13th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm, and Wednesday, March 20th from 12:00 – 1:30 pm.

Any of the three Zoom workshops can be reached by visiting http://tinyurl.com/4br2ab4v with Meeting ID 862 2557 1667. The meeting is also reachable by phone: (646) 931-3860.  Register for any workshop through this link: https://bit.ly/PalisadesReg.

The Community Visioning Workshops will provide attendees the opportunity to help determine the path’s route and amenities while learning more about the study’s process and goals. The workshops will also encourage the public’s suggestions, feedback, and their experiences along the proposed route, which traverses both Bergen and Rockland counties.

Several in-person Community Visioning Workshops for the project will be announced in the spring.
