Community Solar for Upper Nyack residents: Support Clean Energy & Save Money!

Upper Nyack and Nyack are partnering on a joint community solar campaign for our residents and businesses. You can subscribe to a local solar farm and save up to 5% on your electric bill. Subscribing is easy, with no separate bill and no exit fees.

The community solar program does not duplicate or conflict with the Village clean energy program through the Rockland Community Power program.  You can do both to double down on your support for clean energy!

By subscribing to a community solar project, you add on support for new renewable energy projects.  At the same time, you also earn solar credits of approximately 5% of your electricity bill.

When you subscribe, the Village also earns credits towards grant awards in NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Communities program.  Help us get to our goal of sixty participating households!

When you sign up in the Community Solar campaign, you subscribe to Meadow Energy -- the largest New York State solar farm operator with the longest track record.
