2024 Upper Nyack Village Election Information

General Election Information 

Local Village elections will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024. Voting will occur at the Old Stone Meeting House, 347 North Broadway, Upper Nyack, New York from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm. 

Offices to be filled for the 2024 election are: Trustee - two years and Trustee - two years.

The following persons were nominated for the Office of TRUSTEE;

TWO (2) to be elected for a term of two years

This is an unpaid position.

Registration

The Village of Upper Nyack utilizes a voter registration list generated by the County of Rockland Board of Elections. 

To register, visit the Rockland County Board of Elections to download a registration form, or pick up a paper form at Village Hall. Mail your voter registration to the Board of Elections Office,11 New Hempstead Rd, New City, NY 10956. The deadline to register for the Village Election is March 8, 2024.

For those who cannot vote in person on that day (March 19, 2024), absentee ballot applications are available at:

Applications can also be picked up in person at the Village Clerk's Office between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. 

Running for Office

Persons wishing to run for elective office may be nominated either by a political party or through the filing of an independent nominating petition. Party members may also circulate petitions to create the opportunity to write in the name of an unspecified person for an office in which there is no contest for party endorsement. Party nominations may ONLY be filed between Thursday, January 25th, 2024 - Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Independent nominating petitions may ONLY be filed between Tuesday, February 6, 2024 - Thursday, February 8, 2024.
