ROCKLAND’S CLEAN ENERGY PROGRAM: Renewable Energy & Competitive, Fixed Rates June 27 Online Info Session: Get Answers to Your Questions

Rockland Community Power

In November 2020, six Rockland communities launched a clean energy program for residents and small businesses.  Eighteen months later, the program has delivered over $3.83 million in cost savings to program participants in all six communities.  This program will renew in the fall in Clarkstown, Orangetown, and the Villages of Haverstraw, Nyack, and Upper Nyack.  Five new communities are considering joining the program: Montebello, Suffern, Piermont, Grand View-On-Hudson, and West Haverstraw.

The Rockland Community Power program provides renewable electricity supply at competitive, fixed rates, with no contracts for consumers.  The program gives each of us a way to reduce our carbon footprint, while capping electricity supply rates.
