A seasonal ban on gas-powered leaf blowers has been proposed to the Village Board of Trustees and we wanted to hear resident opinions on the topic. As this is was workshop meeting, no action of the Board occurred. This was strictly a listening session.

With the increase in the number of people working at home, awareness of the impact of gas powered leaf blowers has also increased. Many local municipalities have enacted a seasonal ban (see below). The proposed ban would not prohibit the use of electric blowers or the use of blowers after storm events.
