One year after the launch of the Rockland Community Power program, this innovative program has delivered cost savings to residents and small businesses - and a measurable environmental impact too.  Through the Rockland Community Power program, residents and small businesses in Upper Nyack collectively saved $16,107.80 by the end of September.  Village residents and small businesses will also save the equivalent of 1,100 metric tons of CO2 emissions over two years.

The program gives each of us a way to make a measurable difference in our carbon footprint, while also keeping costs down. If you did not sign up when the program started – or would like more information about your energy choices, you can join the Information Session on November 17.

You can always get more information on the program through the help line at 845 859-9099 option 1 or online at www.RocklandCommunityPower.com.  The helpline is available Monday to Friday, 9 to 5.
